Lately we’ve been working on adding security cameras to Out of Sight. Security camera’s will be stationary objects that constantly scan the room. When the player is spotted they will instantly sound the alarm and multiple enemies will scout the room in search of the player for a limited time.
The camera uses the same FOV mechanic as the enemy when spotting the player, but will change in colour depending on it’s state – idle (green), searching (yellow), and spotted (red). A question mark and exclamation mark also signify if the camera is in searching or spotted state respectively.
